That looks like homework do it yourself. We are only allowed to give hints to things like this. So to find <span>The </span>Greatest Common Factor<span> (</span>GCF<span>) of some numbers, is the largest number that divides evenly into all of the numbers. Like, the </span>GCF<span> of 27 and 63:
27: 1, 3, 9, 27
63: 1, 3, 7, 9, 21, 63
17) GCF= 9

21) GCF=12

22) LCM = 189</span>

Explain why 256 + 4 is equivalent to (200 + 4) + (40+4) + (164)
laiz [17]

The expression 256 + 4 is equivalent to (200 + 4) + (40+4) + (16+4) according to distributive and commutative property of addition.

Given the expression 256 + 4. This can be solved using the partial sum expressed as:

256 + 4

256 + 4

= (200 + 40 + 16) + 4

According to the commutative property, A+B = B+A

The arrangement does not affect the result. Hence;

  • (200 + 40 + 16) + 4 = 4 +  (200 + 40 + 16)

Using the distributive law;

  • 4 +(200 + 40 + 16) = (200 + 4) + (40 + 4) + (16 + 4)

Hence the expression 256 + 4 is equivalent to (200 + 4) + (40+4) + (16+4) according to distributive and commutative property of addition.
