Answer:

quadratic formula

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : 8x^2-13x + 3 = 0

To Find: Which method is the best method for solving the equation

Solution:

8x^2-13x + 3 = 0

A: square roots - Since we have 3 terms .So, Square root option A is not suitable.

B: factoring: Since left side is not factorable .So, Option B is not suitable.

C: graphing : Since we must have the graph accurately .So, Option C is not suitable.

D: quadratic formula : x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

This formula is suitable to solve the given quadratic equation.

Hence Option D is the best method for solving the equation

Quadratic formula is the bestt
by applying it
8x^2-13x+3
x^2-13x/8+3/8=0
x^2-13x/8=3/8
x^2-13x/8+169/256
=73/256
(x-13/16)^2
=73/25
so correct option is D
hope it helps

according to the law of conservation of energy, when a car uses 10,000J chemical energy from gasoline, how much energy will be t
Bogdan [553]
According to the Law of Conservation, 10,000 J of energy will be released and transformed into sound, heat, and mechanical energy. This is true because energy cannot be destroyed or created; it just transforms into some other type of energy.

Hope this helps!

The area of a rectangle with width × and length 7× is 7². what does the coefficient 7 mean in terms of the problem?
tatuchka [14]

The coefficient 7 means that the length is 7 times the width

How to interpret the coefficient?

The given parameters are:

Width = x

Length = 7x

Area = 7x^2

We have:

Length = 7x

Substitute Width = x in Length = 7x

Length = 7 * Width

This means that the length is 7 times the width

What happens to the energy not output by a machine
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

By using the energy conservation law, the input energy must be equivalent to the output energy. If you measured output energy is lower than your input energy, you have lost that difference of energy either in mechanical inefficiency (friction, heat, etc.) or an energy sink.

Thus, the energy not output by the machine is lost in the process within the machine.

Cheers.
