The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.The Ninth Amendment clearly rebutted the possible presumption that enumeration of some rights precluded the recognition of others. By its terms, it provides that the enumeration of specific rights should not be “construed to deny or disparage” other rights.
Pathos means emotion and it is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response to an impassioned plea or a convincing story.
