A major disadvantage of the direct mail would be the cost.
Direct mail tend to need personalised copywriters, artists, and photographers for its making in order to make it more interactive.
And considering that most direct mail ended up with low response, the expense that you put for the making may not ba able to be turned into profit.

A person's website specializes in the sale of rare or unusual vegetable seeds. He sells packets of sweet-pepper seeds for $2.
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

7 packets of sweet-pepper seeds and 9 packet of hot-pepper seeds.

Explanation:

Let x packets of sweet-pepper seeds for $2.16 each and y packets of hot-pepper seeds for $4.24 each are mixed to obtain 16-packet mixed pepper assortment for $3.33 per packet,

i.e. x + y = 16       ..........(1)

Also,

The price of sweet-pepper seeds + price of hot pepper seeds = price of the mixture

⇒ 2.16x + 4.24y = 3.33(x+y)

⇒ 2.16x + 4.24y = 3.33x+3.33y

⇒ 2.16x + 4.24y - 3.33x-3.33y = 0

⇒ −1.17x +0.91y = 0  ........(2)

Equation (2) + 1.17 × equation (1)

0.91y + 1.17y = 18.72

2.08y = 18.72

⇒ y = 9

From equation (1),

x + 9 = 16 ⇒ x = 16 - 9 ⇒ x = 7

Hence, there are 7 packets of sweet-pepper seeds and 9 packet of hot-pepper seeds.

IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

In the context of the given question, I agree that the Supreme court should uphold the statute.

Explanation:

This is because the state must have identified and analysed the need for such a statute, to lower any illegal trade practices and to come down heavily on vehicle dismantler who do not execute their business lawfully by maintaining proper records and following ethical work practices as deemed to be correct by the law.

Since the owner was found guilty of not recording vehicle dismantling records, holding an official dismantler's license and spare parts, the owner cannot challenge the police forces. Also, I feel the trial court did a wrong judgement by supporting the owner and declaring that the statute is unconstitutional. Whatever has been described here is for the law and order of the state, so there is no need to counteract.

Therefore, the Supreme court should dismiss trial court's verdict and uphold and enforce the statute in the interest of the state and public.

Morin Company's bonds mature in 10 years, have a par value of $1,000, and make an annual coupon interest payment of $60. The mar
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

= $865.79

Explanation:

The value of the bond is the present value (PV) of the future cash receipts expected from the bond. The value is equal to present values of interest payment plus the redemption value (RV).

Value of Bond = PV of interest + PV of RV

The value of bond of Morin Company can be worked out as follows:

Step 1

PV of interest payment

PV = A ×  (1-(1+r)^(-n))/r

r- 8%, n- 10, A- interest payment = 60

PV of interest

= 60× (1- (1+0.08)^(-10)/0.08

= 402.60

Step 2

PV of Redemption Value

PV = RV × (1+r)^(-n)

= 1,000 × (1.08)^(-10)

= $463.193

Step 3

Price of bond

= $536.80 + 463.19

= $865.79
