Salt I slowed the arms race

I just the test and this is correct. It was Salt II that reduced the number of weapons by limiting the number of ICBM launchers. Salt I just capped weapons production :)

SALT I or Strategic Arms Limitation Talks I is a negotiation about the aim of reducing or limiting the manufacture of strategic missiles that can carry nuclear weapons. It is a negotiation between the Soviet Union and the United States.
