Hi There!

Answer:

30 quaters.

15 dimes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Quarter = $0.25

Dime = $0.10

Quarters: 0.25 * 30 = $7.50

Dimes: 0.10 * 15 = $1.50

Check: 7.50 + 1.50 = $9

Hope This Helps :)

So since we have a relationship between quarters and dimes, let's use dimes=d
0.1d+(0.25)2d=9
This says that dimes(0.1 dollars) and twice as many dimes(quarters so 0.25) is 9 dollars. So it is
0.1d+0.5d=9
Combining we get
0.6d = 9
Dividing by 0.6 we get
d=15
Since there are twice as many quarters as dimes, the answer is 15 dimes and 30 quarters.

The equation given is f(x) = x^2 - 12x + 27

Based on its form, it is a parabola. First, factor the quadratic equation:

f(x) = (x-9) (x-3)

Plot in the x-y plane, assign values of x and solve for the values of y.
