It’s definitely-20
Add 9 to both sides to cancel it out so it is now
4x-20=5x
Than subtract 4x on both sides it is now
-20=x
Because 5-4 equals 1 and 1x is just written as x

-x - 163 = 12x + 84
Inessa05 [86]

Answer:

X = -19

Step-by-step explanation:

Add x to both sides to get rid of -x

-163 = 13x + 84

subtract 84 from both sides

-247 = 13x

divide by 13

x = -19

What the median number for 4, 8 10 5 9
ZanzabumX [31]
Actually, the median is not the same as the average.
The mean and the average are the same.
To find the median, put these numbers in order.
So 4, 5, 8, 9, 10. Now see which number is in the middle.
It is 8, so 8 is the median number.

Q # 9 help please:The table shows the height of a plant as it grows.What equation in point-slope form gives the plant's height a
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer: First option. y-15=5(x-3)

Solution:

We can take any pair of points of the table. For example:

P1=(3, 15)=(x1, y1)→x1=3, y1=15

P2=(5, 25)=(x2,y2)→x2=5, y2=25

And we can find the slope m using the following formula:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(25-15)/(5-3)

m=(10)/(2)

m=5

Now we can apply the point-slope formula to find the equation of the right line:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

Replacing y1=15, m=5, and x1=3

y-15=5(x-3)
