The answer is 12. 1 orange can feed 2 kids so 1 orange=2 kids, 2 oranges=4 kids so on and so on then you get to 12 oranges=24 kids. hope this helps

The teacher will need to buy 12 oranges. The answer is 12 because if she has 24 students and wants to give them 4 a piece just divide 12 by 2 and you will get 6 and 6 times 4 is 24. I am so sorry for not explaining so well but I it only took so long because I tried to my best ability to explain to you. Have a great day!!!

After substituting, what is the first operation performed when evaluating 5+(9x-3) - 2 for %=5?
algol13

Answer:

Multiplication.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

5+(9x-3)-2

Also x=5

Solution:

It has been given that value of x is 5.

So if we substitute the value of x in given equation the we get;

5+(9\times 5 - 3)-2

Now by PEDMAS, The first operation perform will be the terms in parenthesis and in that too the first will be multiplication.

so we get;

5+(45-3)-2

Now again Solving the terms in parenthesis we get;

5+42-2

Now the next operation will be addition then we get;

47 -2

And finally performing subtraction we get;

45

Hence The first operation performed in given equation is multiplication.
