There is no linear function that all of those points fit.

There are formal approximations ... such the "least squares" one ...
that can best approximate the group of points according to some rule.
But there's no straight-line that hits all of the points.  Just mark them
on a graph, and you'll see that right away.

Tema [17]

Answer:

As per the given statement: when the lights go out at the store at night there's a 15% off sign hanging out by the make up counter.

To find the number as a decimal and a fraction in simplest form.

Given the Number = 15%.

If we convert any number from percent to decimal divide by 100 and remove the % sign.

\frac{15}{100} = 0.15

Then the given number in decimal is, 0.15

Now, to convert this percent into fraction;

\frac{15}{100}

Divide both numerator and denominator by 5 to get;

\frac{\frac{15}{5} }{\frac{100}{5} } = \frac{3}{20}

Therefore, the given number in fraction is; \frac{3}{20}

Algebra- I need help with this problem, I don't really get it.
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

29

Step-by-step explanation:

First, replace v with 6 and k with 12

12/6 + 5 - 4(6) + 12

12/6= 2

2 + 5 - 4(6) + 12

4(6) = 24

2 + 5 - 24 + 12

2+ 5 = 7

24 + 12 = 36

7 - 36 = 29

hope this helps!

scatterplot relating to the question is attached below.

Answer: Negative ; Strong

Step-by-step explanation:

From the picture of the scatter plot Given, it could be observed that the trend of the scatter points exhibits a negative gradient as the points on the graph slopes downward depicting that an inverse relationship exists between the two variables. With weight decreasing as miles per gallon increases. The relationship between the two variables depicted by the scatter plot is strong as the slope of the point is looks moderately steep.
