Lena [83]
Multiplication is when you times two different numbers together where its negative or postive(you can multiple pretty much anything together)but combining like terms are number or letters thats the same. For instance, say if i have 4x+7-2x+3, i would combine each term that has something in common with it,like, 4x and 2x because both has X and i will combine 7 and 3 because those two are regular numbers and does not have an X like the others. I Hope That helps!

4 more than one third of a number n is 6. An equation is? The solution is n =?
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

 \frac{1}{3}n  + 4  = 6

6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given problem:

      4 more than one third of a number n is 6

Unknown:

The equation = ?

Solution of the number  = ?

Solution:

 let the number  = n

So, 4 more than one third of a number;

  One third of n = \frac{1}{3}n

  4 more;

                \frac{1}{3}n  + 4

   is 6;

             \frac{1}{3}n  + 4  = 6   (equation of the expression)

Let us now solve the equation:

                         \frac{1}{3}n  + 4  = 6

                    \frac{1}{3}n = 6 - 4

                   \frac{1}{3}n = 2

                     n = 6

Write an equation that gives the proportional relationship of the graph.
labwork [276]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

A proportional graph is a line. Every line has a slope. The slope is found by subtracting two points as a ratio. The line has points (0,0) and (2,6).

6-0 = 6

2 -0 = 2

The ratio is vertical over horizontal so 6/2 = 3.

The equation is y = 3x.

Jason ran 325 meters farther than Kim ran Kim ran 4.2 km how many meters did Jason run estimate to check your answer
exis [7]
Jason = J, Kim = K

K+325m = J
K = 4.2 km
convert km to m by multiplying by 1000
4.2km * 1000 = 4200m = K
so just plug in your values to get your answer : Jason ran 4525 meters
4200m + 325 = 4525m
