She has $20 she can use so the limit of money is 20. 7*2.50=17.5 and 4*.50=2 is she’d be using $19.50 she has 0.50 left so you would divide 0.50 by 0.12 which is 4.16 so she could get 4 pencils.

Do 7 •2.50 and do 4•.50 Add those values together. Subtract that value from the $20. Then divide what you have left by .12

There were 560 people at a play. The admission price was $2 for
Flauer [41]

Answer:

• For this one we need to split this problem into two equations:

• a (adults) + c (children) = 560

• 2a + c = $860

• Then we substitute 560 - a for c in the second equation.

  • 2a + 560 - a = 860
  • 2a + 560 = 860
  • 2a = 530
  • 2a = 265

• Then we plug this into the first equation:

  • 265 + c = 560

  • c = 295

Someone answer 1-8 please! (Please do help!)<br> QUESTION: Find each quotient.

Sorry, but I generally respond to only 1 or 2 problems when someone gives me a long list of homework.  It would take you just a little longer to post one problem at a time.
                                                                             75                 5       -375
Let's look at #5:     75 / (-1/5)   is the same as  -------- = 75 * ------ = ---------                                                                                         -1                -1         1
                                                                              ---
                                                                                5

and this is equivalent to -375 (answer to #5)

Which of these points lies on the circle with the center (2,3) and radius 2?
yan [13]

Answer:

The answer to your question is the letter A.

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Center = (2, 3)

radius = 2

Process

1.- Find the equation of the line

              (x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

-Substitution

              (x - 2)² + (y - 3)² = 2²

-Simplification

              (x - 2)² + (y - 3)² = 4

-Evaluate the points in the equation

A. (4, 3)

              (4 - 2)² + (3 - 3)² = 4

                   2² + 0 = 4

4 = 4     This point lies in the circle

B (-1, 0)

              (-1 - 2)² + (0 - 3)² = 4

                        -3² + (-3)² = 4

9 + 9 = 4   This point is not part of the circle

C. (1, 3)

              (1 - 2)² + (3 - 3)² = 4

                 (-1)² + (0)² = 4

1 = 4          This point is not part of the circle

D. (3, 4)

              (3 - 2)² + (4 - 3)² = 4

                     1² + 1² = 4

2 = 4          This point is not part of the circle
