The verb is used in the <em>statal passive</em> form (Zustandpassiv), which expresses a state. The passive voice is formed with the <em>past participle</em> form of the verb. Einzeichnen is a regular, or weak, verb. To make a past participle form with regular verbs, you need to add a ge- prefix at the beginning and a –t suffix to the end of the verb root. Since this verb has also a separable prefix, '<em>ein</em>-', you need to remember that the -ge- prefix comes between the separable prefix of the verb and the verb root: eingezeichnet.
