The slope formula is (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). It doesn't matter which one you use as x1 or x2 and long as you use the same order for the y's.

After plugging these 2 points in the formula, you get (24-4)/(5-1) = 20/4 = 5. Therefore, the slope is 5.

Hope this helped! Let me know if you need further assistance! Message me or comment under this post.

Two basketball players average the same number of points per game. What information would be most helpful in determining which pl
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

Solution:

To Measure Variability we use four Measures

1. Range

2. Inter-Quartile Range

3. Variance

4. Standard Deviation

Averages are same , it means Mean of the two set of Data are same.

→the average number of points each player’s team scores per game can also determine variability.

→the total number of points each player has scored can also measure variability.

→As range is Minimum Value subtracted from Maximum Value of the given set of Data. So, it can be the measure to determine  variability.

So, Option B: →the number of games each player has played can't Determine a player’s game performance showing the least variability among all the options provided.

And if you want to determine variability, which helps us in determine which player's performance is better then it would be option A which is the most and least points each player has scored in a game.

As the figure shows Elton runs 500 m to point b first then he turns 100 degrees and runs another 350 m to point c how far is the
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

658.24 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let A be the point from where Elton started. Connect points A and C, you get triangle ABC with AB=500 m, BC=350 m and m∠B=100°. Use the cosine rule to determine the length of the segment AC:

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2-2\cdot AB\cdot BC\cdot \cos \angle B,\\ \\AC^2=500^2+350^2-2\cdot 500\cdot 350\cdot \cos 100^{\circ},\\ \\AC^2=250000+122500-350000\cdot (-0.174),\\ \\AC^2\approx 433276.8622,\\ \\ AC\approx 658.24\ m.
