You need an equation. x is the unknown angle or the second angle. Keep in mind that interior angles of a triangle add up to 180.

First Angle: 2x
Second Angle: x
Third Angle: x+92

2x + x + x + 92 = 180
4x + 92 = 180
     -92      -92
4x = 88
/4      /4
x = 22

First Angle: 2x = 2(22) = 44
Second Angle: x = 22
Third Angle: x+92

The answer is 44 degrees.

Write a paragraph of a real life situation you can use the graph as and explain how u would fit it onto the graph.
ivann1987 [24]

We can use this graph in the situation of an animal population of an animal species that grows exponentially until the death of Jesus, and from that point began to decrease exponentially.

It fit in the graph of the following way:

The y-axis represents the number of animals, and the x axis represents the passing of time, 0 becomes the moment in which the calendar stops being taken as before Christ and starts to be taken as after Christ.

The axis of a great circle of a sphere is 24 inches. If its radius is 9 inches, how far is the plane of a section from the cente
Blababa [14]
A great circle is a section of a sphere that passes through its center. If the earth were a sphere, a great circle would be the equator and its axis would be the line connecting the geographic north and south pole. The length of the axis is then equal to the diameter of the sphere. For this problem, the radius of the sphere is 12 inches. A section is formed by slicing through the sphere and all sections of a sphere are circles. Considering the plane to be cut above and parallel with the equator (which is a great circle), the distance of the plane from the center of the sphere would then be the distance between the centers of the sphere and section. It is also given that the radius of the section is 9 inches. A right triangle is formed by connecting the center of the sphere, an edge of the section, and back to the center of the sphere whose hypotenuse is 12 inches (radius of the sphere), one leg is the 9 inches (radius of the section), and another leg is the distance of the plane from the sphere's center. Thus, the distance can be calculated using the Pythagorean theorem, d = sqrt(12^2 - 9^2) = sqrt(144 - 81) = sqrt(63) = 3*sqrt(7).

The original price of a computer was reduced by 225 dollars. The new discounter price is 1274 dollars.
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

1499

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

New discounted price = 1274

Let original price = p

Reduction in original price = 225

Original price is the sum of the reduction and the new discounted price

The Original price = Reduction in original price + new discounted price

P = 225 + 1274

P = 1499

If 12 1/2% of a sum of money is $40 what is the total sum of money?
alukav5142 [94]
12 1/2% = 12.5%

12.5% = $40

1% = 40 ÷ 12.5 = $3.20

100% = $3.20 x 100 = $320

Mary bath 14 gallons of gasoline at $1.19 a gallon and 3 gallons of oil at $2.25 per gallon how much did she spend?
BigorU [14]

Mary bought 14 gallons of gasoline at $1.19 a gallon and 3 gallons of oil at $2.25 per gallon how much did she spend?

To find how much Mary spent, simply multiply the total cost per gallon with the total amount of gallons spent.

Let's start off with: Mary bought 14 gallons of gasoline at $1.19 a gallon

Gallons bought x price per gallon = total amount of money spent on the gallons

14 (gallons) x $1.19 (per gallon) = $16.66 (total cost of 14 gallons)

Next step, Mary buys 3 gallons of oil at $2.25 per gallon, we do the exact same steps above.

Gallons bought x price per gallon = total amount of money spent on the gallons

3 (gallons) x $2.25 (per gallon) = $6.75 (total cost of 3 gallons)

Now, be sure to remember those 2 number (I've bolded it for you so you could see how to get it and where it is if you need to go back and look at the problem)

Now, we want to find the total amount in dollars Mary had spent on gasoline. Simply add the two total cost of gallons (14 gallons + 3 gallons solution)

Remember the bolded parts? Those come in handy right about now: simply add them together.

$16.66 (total cost of 14 gallons) + $6.75 (total cost of 3 gallons) = $23.41 (total amount of money Mary spent on gasoline)
