How did General Washington find the cannons he needed to attack the British in Boston?

Answer:

Between April 1775 and March 1776, a Continental Army force superior in numbers but raw and undisciplined, laid siege to the citiy of Boston, where a 6,500-troop garrison was entrenched. There was a stalemate that lasted for months. On March 4, 1776, General George Washington took Dorchester Heights and from there he trained his canons on the city and the harbor. The British commander, Gen. William Howe, had to evacuate the city by ship and the siege came to an end.

In July of 1775,G.Washington put steps in Boston to acquire the command of the army. All of his primary focus was to remove the British from Boston and so he required weapons.  

Colonel Henry Knox was made the in charge for bringing weapons. Within a year, Colonel Knox brought many cannons to General George. These weapons helped General Washington’s army to defeat the British . The British were compelled to withdraw from Boston.
