$7.50 for 5 kids you divide 4.50 by 3 and get 1.50 and you take 1.50 times 5 and get 7.50

Answer: $7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

When two quantities x and y are directly proportional , then the equation that represents the direct proportion is given  y :-

\dfrac{x_1}{y_1}=\dfrac{x_2}{y_2}      (1)

Given : The amount that Susan charges per hour for babysitting is directly proportional to the number of children she is watching. She charges $4.50 for 3 kids.

Let she charges x amount  to babysit 5 kids, then we have following equation:-

\dfrac{x}{5}=\dfrac{4.50}{3}\\\\\Rightarrow\ \dfrac{4.50}{3}\times5=7.5

Hence, she would charge $ 7.5  to babysit 5 kids.

Amy had 23 blocks she gave 7 blocks to isabela and 5 blocks to alexa here are the choices A. (23-7)+5 and B.23-(7+5) and C. 23-7
Semmy [17]

Answer:

C seems right

Step-by-step

seems more work then needs be but 7+5= 12 and she originally had 23. so the equation of adding the 7+5 would just be adding up the ones removed together then adding the -23 to the equation is how many Amy had to begin with. so it would be <u><em>23-7+5 </em></u>= 12. others dont seem right since when you add () to an equation that means your multiplying and you wouldn't be multiplying here and for D to be right it needs to be switched around or you'd end up with a - number and she wouldn't have a - number of blocks. just divide up a problem if need be and break it down to smaller parts to make it easier to deal with.

Which statement correctly describes the relationship between quadrilateral ABCD and quadrilateral A′B′C′D′ ? An x y coordinate p
Keith_Richards [23]

The answer is; "Quadrilateral ABCD is congruent to quadrilateral A′B′C′D′ because you can map quadrilateral ABCD to quadrilateral A′B′C′D′ using a translation 7 units to the right, which is a rigid motion."

WILL MARK BRAINLIEST IF UNDER 6 MINS FROM RSM! HELP! The difference between a and b is 12. The number a is 5 more than 3 times t
Eva8 [605]

Answer:

Choice D.  a - b = 12  and  a = 3b + 5

Step-by-step explanation:

so   |a - b| = 12

a = 3b + 5

3b + 5 - b  = 12

2b + 5 = 12

b = 7/2

what if  b - a = 12

b - 3b - 5 = 12

-2b = 17

b < 0  no.

choice A. works  so does choice D.)
