Pastoralism is basically a branch of agriculture. This branch is mostly concerned with the raising of raising of livestock, that is, the creation, maintenance and use of animals such as camels, goats, cows, yaks, llamas and sheep. Generally, pastoralism is a successful way to support a population when the land isn't very productive.
