"DNA helicase" as the unwinding the double helix so that the other protein involved in replication have access to the bases. without helicase to unwind the DNA, The bases would remain stuck together and enzymes wouldn't be able to read them to make a new strand.

* the answer is : DNA HELICASE->UNWINDS ENTIRE DNA HELIX

Hope I help:)

You have been asked to design a drug to inhibit BCR-ABL in an effort to treat CML. Using your knowledge of enzyme-catalyzed reac
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

by designing a drug with steric effects on BCR-ABL1

Explanation:

Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)  is a type of cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood cells. CML is characterized by the formation of the Philadelphia chromosome, a product of a reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 9 and 22. As a consequence of this translocation, an oncoprotein tyrosine kinase called BCR-ABL1 is formed. This protein (BCR-ABL1) is responsible for 95% of all CMLs. In this case, it is possible to inhibit BCR-ABL1 (and thus inhibit CML cell proliferation) by using a kinase inhibitor. Kinase inhibitors are drugs that inhibit kinase function by preferentially binding to the inactive conformation of the target enzyme. These proteins are used to treat cancer by blocking a functional site on the kinase, thereby inhibiting its function. Moreover, it is known that steric effects alter the mode and rate by which a drug interacts with a given target. In this case, a small molecule with steric effects on BCR-ABL1, i.e., capable of altering the shape (conformation) and reactivity of BCR-ABL1, might also be used to selectively inhibit BCR-ABL1.

which protist exhibits both animal-like and plant-like characteristics?a protist that has pseudopods and swims by using ciliaa p
Ad libitum [116K]
I guess it is euglena because, i<span>t's a plant like protist, it contains chlorophyll and carries out photosynthesis. The eyespots function as a light shield which allows light from a certain direction to strike the light detector.
it doesn' have a cell wall because it is "plant-like," not a plant,
it has a pellicle that provides strength and flexibility since it lacks a cell wall</span>

OLga [1]

Answer:

-In gases and liquids, heat is usually transferred by convection, in which the motion of the gas or liquid itself carries heat from one place to another. ... If you boil water in a kettle, the heat is transferred through convection from the fire to the pot.

- This motion of fluids is called convection. In the set of bottles where the hot water was above the cold water, the cold water was already on the bottom, so there was no convection.

- When the bottle was put into the cold water, the air in the bottle contracted, taking up a smaller space in the bottle. The sides of the bottle pushed in when the air inside controlled

Which stage of processing occurs when the stimulus activates one or more sensory receptor nerves, and the resulting sensations g
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

Stage III Interpretation

Explanation:

There are three stages of perception process

• Exposure

• Attention

• Interpretation

During perception, the sensory receptors are active and they receive stimulus from their surroundings.  However, the complete perception of any stimulus is interpreted  by the brain because only brain is capable of differentiating between the sensory stimulus based on the pathway followed by them. On the basis of perceived information, action potential signals are generated that are sent back to the sensory organ (perceiving the stimulus at their end) for further responses.
