What is required in this is to find the area of each piece.

First rectangle (top)

A=13*4

A=52

Second rectangle (bottom)

A=12*4

A=48

Third rectangle (left side)

A=5*4

A=20

Triangles (both (causing us to multiple by 2 in the problem) because they have the same length and width)

A=1/2*5*12*2

A=5*12 (1/2 and 2 cancel out)

A=60

Now add them up:

52+48+20+60=SA (remember 60 is both triangles so we only have 4 measurements)

180=SA

Answer:

There are 5 surface areas.

Left rectangle = 5 x 4 = 20 square inches

Tilted top rectangle = 13 x 4 = 52 square inches

Bottom Rectangle = 12 x 4 = 48 square inches

Side triangles = 5 x 12 x .5 = 30 square inches EACH

Total area = 20 + 52 + 48 + 30 + 30 =

180 square inches

a triangle flower bed has one angle of 64 degrees. the other two angles are congruent to one another. what are the measures of t
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

58 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

well we know that every angle in a tringle adds up to 180 degrees.

so we know that 64 + angle 1 + angle 2 = 180

180-64=116

and since they are congruent (same value as one another) you just divide 116 by 2 and boom!

116/2=58

both are 58 degrees

A manufacturing company builds construction machinery. It sells 10 machines for $18,100 and 20 machines for $26,600. Which equat
love history [14]
Y = mx + b
m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

y = (26,600 - 18100)/(20 - 10)x + b
y = 850x + b
18100 = 850(10) + b
b = 9600

R(x) = 850x + 9600
