–1.42 – (–3.8) = C. 2.38
(change the subtraction, and second negative sign to a postive. Its one of the many math rules when using integers... Whenever theres a subtraction sign, and a negative number to the right of it, you chnage the signs to a positive.)
sooo:
-1.42 + (3.8) = 2.38

~Hope this helped :)

In a 3-4-5 right triangle which expression would provide the measure of the smallest acute angle
Bad White [126]
The possible expressions for the measure of the smallest acute angle

     sin\:\theta =\frac{3}{5}\:or\:\theta =sin^{-1}\left(\frac{3}{5}\right)

     cos\:\theta =\frac{4}{5}\:or\:\theta =cos^{-1}\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)

     tan\:\theta =\frac{3}{4}\:or\:\theta =tan^{-1}\left(\frac{3}{4}\right)

These three expressions are the possible measure of the smallest acute angle.
