I am really confused on this question and need help
Alisiya [41]
The lines are parallel (meaning they have the same slope) so there is no solution.  If the lines overlap then there is infinite solutions.  If the lines cross there is one solution.

The only way to have more than one solution but not infinite is if the graphs are something other than lines.

Answer:

See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is incomplete as the required trapezoid is not given. SO, I will answer using genera rules.

The area of a trapezoid is:

Area = \frac{1}{2}(x + y) * z

Where

x, y \to parallel sides

z \to height

Assume that:

x = 2; y =3; z = 4

The formula becomes

Area = \frac{1}{2} * (2 + 3) * 4

Area = \frac{1}{2} * 4 * 4

Area = 5

First rewrite 10/21 and 4/9 so that they have a common denominator
Tema [17]

Answer:

10/21=30/63

4/9=28/63

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the lcm (least common multiple) of 21 an 9, which is 63. Then divide 21 and 9 separately by 63. The multiply that number by the numerator.

Pachacha [2.7K]
Since x represents the number of students, and y represents the number of adult chaperones (and x does not include y), the best answer is A, that there are x = 50 students on the field trip, and they are accompanied by y = 5 chaperones.
Note the difference with choice c, which says that 50 is the total (45 students, 5 adults).
