Ok so for the first picture: supplementary angles are angles that when added together equal 180 degrees, so the angle that is supplementary to SQT would be Angle TQV.

Second picture: We know that angle TQV is 90 degrees, and that Angle UQV is 35 degrees, so we just subtract 35 from 90, which is 55. The angle of TQU is 55 degrees. Hope that helps! Please mark Brainliest if it does!

If the first equation is multiplied by 3 and then the equations are added, the result is _____.
alina1380 [7]
To practice, what if the two are added now? lets add one term at a time. first the x terms. 3x+x= 4x. then y+-3y=-2y. finally 3+-2=1. now putting them together we get 4x-2y=1.

multiplying the first equation by 3 gets us 9x+3y=9. basically multiplying each term by 3. now just do the same thing from the first part, so start with the new 9x+x and continue

The value of the expression would be 16.25 or 16 and 1/4, because when you multiply something by 1/2, you’re basically dividing it by 2, and when you put parentheses next to a number (for example 2(4) ), it means that you’re multiplying it, and when more than one values are in the parentheses, they all get multiplied, basically distributive property.
