Autobiography of an umbrella
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

"Who am I? I am an Umbrella, companion of rich and poor. My name originated from the Latin word which is ‘umbra’ which in turn derived from the Ancient Greek word called ‘ombro’ which means shower of rain. I love my name a lot and I think it is unique.

How I came into this world?

I am made from an umbrella factory across the world and I and my colleagues come in different sizes, modes, colours and patterns. I was made of wooden, plastic, iron and clothing materials.

My handle is mostly made of wood or plastic materials and my stem is made of painted iron; mostly black. I have a network of iron rib cage which is one of the important parts of my skeletal system. My rib cage is covered with a cloth which comes in different colours and pattern, likewise different clothing materials which give no room for penetration of water and reducing insulation from the scorching sun. I am a favourite of countless people and very cheap. I am a good companion for those who stay outside a lot whether during a sunny day or during precipitation. I am very cheap to procure and am easily found anywhere any time you want me.

I am always at service

My service is never obstructing by my own self, am always at my owner disposal, I give 100 % of me anytime or any day and till my end. Where the Red Fern Grows- Chapter 3 Quiz
Andre45 [30]

Billy hastened to the abandoned campsite in search of the fishermen's lost treasures. He was hoping to discover some lost or abandoned objects the fisherman had left behind.

What is the significance of the title in 'Where the Red Fern Grows'?

A youngster buys and trains two Redbone Coonhounds for hunting in Wilson Rawls' 1961 children's book Where the Red Fern Grows. The autobiographical novel is based on Rawls' own upbringing in the Ozarks. Little Ann loses her desire to live as a result of her sadness and passes away a few days later.

In Where the Red Fern Grows, the readers can observe how love, rather than merely loyalty, helps the team survive and prevail throughout their experiences. A crimson fern is growing between the children's bodies when they are discovered in the spring. As a result, the red fern is revered. We have a connection to the spiritual and sacred, a reference to religion, and the suggestion that the dogs were really sent by God in just one tiny fable.

Keith left his house, rode his bike 3 miles along one road, took a 90 degree turn, and rode 3 miles to the local swimming pool.
kap26 [50]

Answer:

1.8 miles

Explanation:

Considering rectangle triangle as a model for this problem

We know:

Length of the sides of the triangle

In order to find length of the hypotenuse, we'll use Pythagorean theorem

d=\sqrt{3^{2} +3^{2} }\\d = \sqrt{2(3^2)} \\d = 3\sqrt{2} \\d = 4.2 miles

Then, the distance that he would have saved if he travels directly is:

3 + 3 - 4.2 = 1.8miles.

Therefore, he would have saved 1.8miles.
