The people who benefited from the second wawe of westward expansion <em>(Ocurred from 1840 until 1900)</em> in the United States was in first place, <u>the Government,</u> then <u>the land promoters</u> who wanted to find bigger business possibilities, <u>the railway tycoons</u> who wanted to expand their industry, <u>the farm owners</u> who were looking for more and better opportunities for their families and <u>other investors</u> who supported the westward expansion with the only objective to obtain financial benefits for themselves.
