To answer this question you have to take it apart

first multiply the 2/5 times -1/5 = -2/25

next multiply the x or the a, it does not matter which, but i will do the a

a² times a = a³

x times x²= a³

put them togethor to get (-2/25)a³x³ as your answer

Need help plz. no joking around. thank you
svetlana [45]

Since the number has 3 decimal places, you'll write it as:

\frac{901}{1000}

After that, you only simplify the fraction. Since there is know way of simplifying:

\boxed{\bf~\frac{901}{1000}~is~the~answer.}

Hope it helped,

what is the y- coordinate of the y- intercept of the line that passes through the points (-4,-4) and (4,8)
erastova [34]
\bf \begin{array}{ccccccccc}
&&x_1&&y_1&&x_2&&y_2\\
%  (a,b)
&&(~ -4 &,& -4~)
%  (c,d)
&&(~ 4 &,& 8~)
\end{array}
\\\\\\
% slope  = m
slope =  m\implies
\cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{8-(-4)}{4-(-4)}\implies \cfrac{8+4}{4+4}\implies \cfrac{12}{8}\implies \cfrac{3}{2}

\bf \stackrel{\textit{point-slope form}}{y- y_1= m(x- x_1)}y-(-4)=\cfrac{3}{2}[x-(-4)]
\\\\\\
y+4=\cfrac{3}{2}(x+4)\implies y+4=\cfrac{3}{2}x+6\implies y=\stackrel{slope}{\cfrac{3}{2}}x\stackrel{y-intercept}{+2}

notice the slope-intercept form, that's the y-coordinate.
