Look max or min value of 10 cosx will varry according to value of cosx and we know that <span>cosx has max value of 1 and min value at -1 </span> <span>thus 10*cosx has min value as 10(-1)=-10 and max value as 10(1)=10 </span> Hope that helps...if I'm wrong please correct me
