Answer:

The Aztec Empire was more a set of different peoples than a homogeneous and peaceful culture. The elite in Tenochtitlán oppressed city-states around it with heavy taxes and kept its dominance through a strong military.

Explanation:

This created many enemies of the Aztec Empire and so it happened that when the Spanish arrived these peoples joined forces with them to destroy Tenochtitlán.

It's important to remember that Aztec Empire it's not how they called themselves in the 1500s. "Aztec" is a term that began to be utilized only in the 1800s by European scholars. In the 1500s the people of Tenochtitlán called themselves Mexicas.

Ham Fam

Who is your favorite character in Hamilton and why?
slega [8]

Answer:

My favorite Hamilton character? Well that would have to be Aaron Burr. Let’s keep in mind this is Leslie Odom Jr. he has a beautiful voice and makes Burr a great character. But why he’s such a great character even without Leslie Odom Jr playing him? He makes Hamilton think and not just blurt out. He challenged his ideas and understood. He adds story and makes Hamilton’s story interesting. He knows what’s right and wrong, and even regrets killing Hamilton but just let anger get the best of him at the moment. He also sings in my two favorite songs (Wait For It and The Room Where it Happens) and he seems to love his daughter a lot and is willing to kill for her.
