Answer:$14,250

Explanation:

The total commission recieved is

950,000 x 7.5% = $71,250

The listing brokerage and the selling brokerage both received 50% of that sum which is

71,250/2 = $35,625

The Sales person gets 40% of the Selling brokerage's cut which would be

35,625 x 40% = $14,250

Sedbober [7]

Answer:

Explanation: please refer to the explanation section

Initial fixed asset Investment = 2.33million = 2 330 000

Modified Accelerated Cost recovery System

The Fixed Asset Falls under the 3 year MACRS class the project the asset which states that Asset Depreciation range Midpoint is 4 years or less The period for this project is 3 years

Estimated annual sales = $1735000

costs = $640,000

Initial Net working Capital investment = $300,000

Residual Value (Value of the fixed asset at the end) = $255,000

a. Projected Cash flows

Year 0

Cash outflows = 2 330 000 - 300 000 - 255 000 = 2375000

Estimated sales 1735000 1735000     1735000

costs                  -640000    -640000      -640000

Depreciation     -791666.67  -791666.67    -791666.67

Residual Value                     255000

Net Cash flows  227500           227500              418750

Depreciation = (2330 00 + 300 000 -255000)/3= 791666.67

Tax =  Net sales x 25%

b Net Present Value (Required rate Return = 9%)

PV  =  227500/(1+0.09)^1 + 227500/(1 + 0.09)^2 + 418750/(1+0.09)^3

Present Value of cash flows = 723549.63

Net Present Value = 723549.63 - 2630 000 = -1906450.37

The net present Value is Negative indicating the project will not bring positive returns

What activity is designed to generate a listing of potential clients?
Sidana [21]
Prospecting is an activity that is designed to help a real estate broker generate more listings. This can be a time consuming endeavor, but well worth it in the end for brokers. One of the ways to start prospecting is to make cold calls. Before making any cold calls, and have a script ready for each call. This is one of the most effective prospecting methods. Always stick to a schedule and set aside time each day for prospecting. Other prospecting idea's are to update all of your social media accounts, ask for referrals, start a door hanging campaign, and use the website Zillow to find more leads. You can also offer an information session for first time buyers in your area, this will help to meet new people. Always reach out to expired real estate listings and see if they are interested inputting their home back on the market. Many real estate brokers will also sponsor a children's sport team, and at each game introduce yourself to the parents. It also crucial to keep in touch with all of your past clients, this helps build trust. You can send out holiday cards to members of the community to make people know that you do. Prospecting isn't for everyone, but it is the best activity in real estate to generate new leads.

During its first year of operations, Mack's Plumbing Supply Co. had sales of $550,000, wrote off $8,800 of accounts as uncollect
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

$60,500

Explanation:

With regards to the above, the write off does not affect the realizable value of accounts receivables. Also, the total asset or net income is not affected by the write off or specific account. Instead, both assets and net income are affected in the period when bad debt expense is predicted and then recorded with an adjusting entry.

Accounts receivables

$550,000

Less:

Allowance for doubtful account

($550,00 × 2.5%)

($13,750)

Estimated realizable accounts receivables

$536,250

If the amount of bad debt decreases or increases as given below, then the income is also increased or decreased by the amount given.

Bad debts = $13,750

Uncollectible previously written off = $8,800

Difference

$4,950

Net income

$60,500

Less:

Difference

($4,950)

Reported income

$55,550

melisa1 [442]

Answer and Explanation:

The computation is shown below;

a. Raw material price variance is

= (standard price - actual price) × actual quantity

= ($10 - $11) × ($69,300 ÷ $11)

= ($10 - $11) × 6,300

= $6,300 unfavorable

b. The raw material usage variance is

= (Standard quantity - actual quantity) × standard price

= (525 × 13 - 6,300) × $10

= $5,250 favorable

In this way it should be calculated
