First you combine like terms. Adding 5n and 4n together to get 9n+3=30. Then you subtract 3 from 30 and end up with 9n=27.
Then you divide 27 by 9 and end up with n=3.
So the answer is 3.

N=3
5n+3+4n=30 (add 5n and 4n)
9n+3=30 (Subtract 3 from both sides)
9n=27 (divide both sides by 9)
n=3

What is the prime factorization of 1,260?
maks197457 [2]
A. 2*2*3*3*5*7

Whilst B and C both also yield 1,260, they aren't broken down in to their prime factors. In B, 4 can be broken down in to 2*2 and 9 in to 3*3, and in C, 6 can be broken down in to 2*3

And D just doesn't total 1,260

Solve for x and y:
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

O d. (7,5)

Step-by-step explanation:

x – 3y = -8 (1)

3x + 2y = 31 (2)

From (1)

x = -8 + 3y

Substitute x = -8 + 3y into (2)

3x + 2y = 31 (2)

3(-8 + 3y) + 2y = 31

-24 + 9y + 2y = 31

-24 + 11y = 31

11y = 31 + 24

11y = 55

y = 55/11

y = 5

Substitute y = 5 into (1)

x – 3y = -8 (1)

x - 3(5) = -8

x - 15 = -8

x = -8 + 15

x = 7

(x, y) = (7, 5)

Which statement must be true?
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is B.

For A. its not true, the two triangles show that XW and RS are equivalent.

For C. its not true, the two triangles show that m<R is equal to m<X, not m<R=m<Y.

For D, its not true, the two triangles show that m<X is equal to m<R, not m<R=m<Y.

The two triangles show SSA, which prove that the triangle is equivalent. So, then, corresponding sides are considered equivalent. As a result, you can assume that ST=WY.
