Why did the islamic community falter when european nations started trading by sea
EastWind [94]

Islamic community falter when European nations started trading by sea because Islam faced huge loss in trade.

Explanation:

Islam mostly traded through the Mediterranean sea and the Indian ocean which helped it to become very powerful and established but when European countries started trading through the same route, there was a huge loss in the business and trade of Islam leading to the negative impact on it's economy where Europe started taking over the trade and started colonizing a lot of countries in the east therefore spreading it's trade and expanding business.

What did England need before challenging rival nations in their quest for foreign territories?
kakasveta [241]

Answer:

They needed several things, but the most important, they needed a big naval force.

Explanation:

England was against several nations, like Dutch, Spain and France, which were a tremendous powerful force in the Sea, which was England's weakness. So, once they had naval power, they were able to face any altercation with any nation. They became so powerful, that they won territories in America that were under Spain and France domain.

So, these events say that England had well grounded goals.
