Sometimes, parents or older adults tend to be so used to how things were when they were a teenager, that they forget to understand that their child is in a new era. This can cause disagreements when they don't see eye to eye. This is normal, as long as both sides can respect each other.

Parents and their teen child might end up going through some misunderstandings about things such as grades, or how the teen acts. Some parents might have good intentions, but end up doing what they think is okay in the wrong way, and their child will end up getting hurt or upset in some type of way and lose trust in their parents. Of course, there are other situations that might be about a teen's sexuality or who they're dating. There are all kinds of problems that can take place while a person's child is a teen, or any age, for that matter.
But of course, it might not be something that the teen is doing, but the parent. Sometimes it is the parent that can be the only wrong one. The parent can be abusive, or just not be there, which can make the parent's relationship very bad as the child is a teen.
Sometimes, it's not that. A parent could be in jail while the teen still loves them very much, but because of..well, jail, they can't really have a normal relationship or see each other on a daily basis like a normal loving family would.

Communication is the act of sending and receiving messages. Sometimes messages are communicated verbally, with words, or nonverb
otez555 [7]
There was this one time where I am trying to explain to my sister something about our research and the whole time that I was talking my sister was confused and could not understand what I was trying to say. I thought that maybe the cause that my message was not received properly is that I was not using the right terms or words to say. I should be more careful of the terms I say since not all can understand the same I understand some words.
