Marcus Garvey
Explanation:
The Back to Africa movement encouraged the African descent to return to their ancestors homelands, his thoughts were the pillars on which the Rastafarian religion was erected, these ideas contained a great sense of identity with the African descendants, such as: "people without the knowledge of their past, history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots".
This new wave of African identity led to the development of different movements such as the Pan-Africanist where he was one the grassroots founders alongside Malcolm X, and the Rastafarian where he's considered to be a prophet who predicted Haile Selassie's crowning as Emperor of Ethiopia, a turning point that would initiate a new era for the African world descendants: "Look to Africa, when a black king shall be crowned, for the day of deliverance is at hand"
The Rastafarian Movement is a religion where it is believed that Haile Selassie's, Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974, personified the same holy trinity, this is based on a Biblical prophecy from Revelations 5:5: "Do not weep, behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to lose the seven seals", Rastafarians claim that Haile Selassie was a descendant of King David, who was a descendant of King Solomon, which is why he fulfilled the prophecy and embodied the Lion of Judah and therefore, he was Jah (a short version of "Yahweh") Rastafari.
