Answer:

w(t)=0.8t+17.9

Step-by-step explanation:

By reading the question thoroughly you can determine that w is the y axis/y values and t is the x axis/x values.

<em>First we need to find the slope, so we take two sets of  coordinates so we can determine the slope. for this we use the following formula:</em>

<em />\frac{y1-y2}{x1-x2}<em />

So now i am going to use the coordinates (1,18.7) and (2,19.5)

<em>Now i plug in the numbers:</em>

<em />\frac{(19.5)-(18.7)}{(2)-(1)}<em />

<em>It is very important that the coordinates do not get mixed up at all and stay with the other value they belong with</em>

<u>Simplify:</u>

<u />\frac{0.8}{1} or 0.8/1

Since any number divided by one is itself, we have the slope.

<em>To determine the y intercept, we look at the graph, the x or t value is at 1, so all we have to do is subtract 0.8 from the y value where x=1:</em>

<u>Subtract:</u>

18.7-0.8=17.9

1-1=0

(0,17.9)

<u>Now that we have all of our components, we put the equation together like  a puzzle</u>:

w(t)=0.8t+17.9

I hope this helps u pls give a brainliest and a thx ;)

An investment grows by 22% over a 5 year period. What is its effective annual percent growth rate
iren2701 [21]
Since annual means per year, then you need to divide 22 by 5.

5 / 22 = 4.4

Now lets check our work.

4.4 x 5 = 22

Genuinely confused rn
frosja888 [35]

Using it's concept, it is found that the probability that he winds up wearing the white shirt and tan pants is of \frac{1}{8}.

<h3>What is a probability?</h3>

A probability is given by the <u>number of desired outcomes divided by the number of total outcomes</u>.

In this problem:

  • For the shirt, there is 4 outcomes, hence the probability of the white shirt is 1/4.
  • For the pair of pants, there are 2 outcomes, blue or tan, hence the probability of tan pants is 1/2.

Since the shirt and the pants are independent, the probability is given by:

p = \frac{1}{4} \times \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{8}.
