Answer:

Recall is a procedure by which, in certain polities, voters can remove an elected official from office through a direct vote before that official's term has ended.

Referendum is a direct and universal vote in which an entire electorate is invited to vote on a particular proposal, it can be nationwide or local forms. This may result in the adoption of a new policy or specific law. In some countries, it is synonymous with a plebiscite or a vote on a ballot question.

Initiative is a means by which a petition signed by a certain minimum number of registered voters can force a government to choose to either enact a law or hold a public vote in parliament in what is called indirect initiative, or under direct initiative, the proposition is immediately put to a plebiscite or referendum, in what is called a Popular initiated Referendum or citizen-initiated referendum.

How is the power of the judicial branch kept in check?
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

The authors of the Constitution wanted to be sure that

no person or group would seize power and control

the American government. To insure that this would

not happen, our United States government, under

the Constitution; was divided into three parts: the

executive, the legislative, and the judicial. Each of

these three branches has a check on the powers of

the others. These checks provide a system of balance

in our government, and that is why we call the system

checks and balances.

You may also hear this system referred to as a

separation of powers. Although not directly mentioned

in the. Constitution, the first three articles mark the

responsibilities of the executive, legislative; and

judicial branches. It gives some power to each branch

of government instead of giving all the power to one

branch.

These are the most important checks and balances:

1. Executive branch has the power to check the

legislative branch by vetoing laws that Congress

wants to pass

2. Legislative branch may check the executive branch

by passing laws over the veto by two-thirds vote in

each house.

one of the main problems with the reservation system was that government agents took land from settlers to give to american indi
Alex777 [14]

Stole land from farmers to give it to Native Americans. A tract of property controlled by a Native American tribe under the US Bureau of Indian Affairs, as opposed to the state governments of the United States in which they are physically located, is known legally as an "Indian reserve." I hope this information is helpful.

What's Indian reservation?

 • An Indian reservation is an area of land held and governed by a federally honored Native American ethnical nation whose government is responsible to the U.S.
 • Bureau of Indian Affairs and not to the state government in which it's located.
 • Some of the country's 574 federally honored lines govern further than one of the 326 Indian reservations in the United States, while some share reservations, and others have no reservation at all.
 • Literal incremental land allocations under the Dawes Act eased deals to non – Native Americans, performing in some reservations getting oppressively disintegrated, with pieces of ethnical and intimately held land being treated as separate enclaves.

Why is reservation so important?

 • It's the duty of the government to give equivalency of status and occasion in India.
 • Reservation is one of the tools against social oppression and injustice against certain classes. else known as affirmative action, reservation helps in upping backward classes.
