ol. how will this mutation affect these yeast cells?" is "A) the mutant yeast will be unable to grow anaerobically" and not the others?
A) the mutant yeast will be unable to grow anaerobically.

B) the mutant yeast will grow anaerobically only when given glucose.

C) the mutant yeast will be unable to metabolize glucose.

D) the mutant yeast will die because they cannot regenerate nad+ from nad.

I would really appreciate it if someone helped me with this problem. I need to do corrections for this problem but I don't understand it.

I am assuming that is has something to do with maybe to convert pyruvate to ethanol there needs to be no oxygen. therefore it will not be able to grow without oxygen (anaerobically). That's the best i could think of hope it helps, sorry if it doesn't.
