Answer:

- charged language  - emotional tone

- formal, elevated language  - serious tone

- casual, informal language  - friendly tone

Explanation:

Charged language refers to the type of language characterized by many subtle implications, which are made in order to persuade a specific audience, by engaging their emotions.

e.g. A  person who supports community reforms could be described as a "citizen enthusiastic about community reforms" or as "a citizen obsessed with community reforms."

Formal, elevated language is characterized by serious tone, less personal structures, use of complex structures, deprived of colloquialisms and simple constructions. We usually use a formal language for academic purposes or when we talk to people we do not know very well.

Casual, informal language is characterized by a friendly tone, and simple, more personal structures. We use informal language when we talk to our friends and family or when writing some personal emails or text messages.

You were recently on a school trip when something unusual happened.
const2013 [10]

Answer:

Dear Sam,

Mrs. Anna's class and I were going to the local zoo when something unusual happened. We had just gotten done eating some food at the café and some girls wanted to go look at the dusk monkeys. Anyways, we're all looking at monkeys when we see a tiger. Well, yes its a zoo you see animals all the time. But this Bengal tiger was out of its cage. It also had a chicken in its mouth. This Bengal Tiger was also loose. Everyone in the class including Mrs. Anna started freaking out because they thought the tiger was going to eat them too or something. A few minutes later, zoo keepers came by and shot the tiger with a tranquillizer and hauled it back to its cage. Apparently a section of the cage had a space big enough for Cassie the tiger to get out. We're all safe now!

Can someone help me write an argumentative essay about racing. will give you lot of points.
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

Some people might say that racing isn't a sport, but it is. Saying racing isn't a sport is like saying football isn't a sport. Saying your opinion is diffrent than stating a fact. When you state a fact you give supporting details, however when you give an opinion you say what you believe.

In racing like manny other sports you have to train hard to do so. If you dont you fail. Worldwide there are over 300 million fans associated with this sport. Racing is one of the most popular sports in the world!

Explanation:

I like writing sometimes so you got an essay. Short but still, an essay.
