Which of the following is the strongest claim for an argumentative research paper?

English
2 answers:

The correct answer is: Option C. Limiting activities along Silver Lake will reduce pollution in the lake and along its shore.

An argumentative research paper picks a topic to be analyzed within the content, but the author is compelled to include information on the matter as evidence to support their claims.

Regarding Option C, the author is adamant and confident on the outcome of their claim, which can be noted with their use of the auxiliary verb "will" - meaning that said proposal will have an impact on somebody's interests. The reader is able to argue on this claim.

A participial phrase is what?

A participial phrase is an adjectival construction that combines a participle (past, present, or perfect) with other words such as nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and prepositional phrases. Like adjectives, participles are used to modify nouns and their equivalents.

What is a noun?

In a sentence, a noun is a word that refers to a specific person, place, thing, or animal. Depending on the context, a noun may serve as a subject, direct object, indirect object, subject complement, object complement, appositive, adjective, or adverb. Shakespeare uses figurative language often in his writing. What are some examples of allusion and hyperbole in this passage?
Nutka1998 [239]
An example of allusion in this would be "Cupid" because he is alluding to the famous character in mythology.
Ex. of an allusion to help you better understand: if it's capitalized in the middle of a sentence, it's sure to be an allusion. An allusion can be a significant place, landmark, or person; for example, Barack Obama or the Eiffel Tower.

An example of a hyperbole from the excerpt would be "sick in love" (I think. Shakespeare is a little tough to understand, even for me, lol) because the statement is exaggerated.

I hope this helped! ♥
