Theodore Roosevelt's foreign policy states that the US has to maintain a balance of power with the foreign countries and wants to reduce the tension among the powerful countries.

Theodore Roosevelt's has formulated a foreign policy in which he wants maintain a power balance with all the foreign counties and particularly he wants to maintain a good relation with powerful counties.

He was very keen in maintain the Monroe Doctrine. The Monroe Doctrine was constituted in the year 1823 which states that creation of separate area for European and American influence.

According to the Monroe Doctrine, Roosevelt's made an American foreign policy and made the European to move out Western Hemisphere and not allowed them to establish the European colonialism.
