Answer:

A) has other smaller objects in orbital path

C) spherical shape

Explanation:

A celestial body is said to be dwarf planet if it is round in shape and revolves around the sun. It is smaller than the planets and may have other smaller objects in the path of its orbit. It may or may not have moons.

For example, the largest asteroid in the asteroid belt- Ceres is also a dwarf planet. Pluto which was earlier considered a planet is now demoted to dwarf planet as it is not the largest body in its neighborhood. Pluto has five moons.

Please explain when you have smaller population does evolution happen faster
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

Small populations tend to lose genetic diversity more quickly than large populations due to stochastic sampling error (i.e., genetic drift). This is because some versions of a gene can be lost due to random chance, and this is more likely to occur when populations are small.

Why the rainforest in Costa Rica is not rich with plants? Remember to use scientific language
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

Deforestation is the major problem causing lack of rich species in Costa Rica. This is due to over grazing by cattle. This may lead to flooding which affect fertility of the soil. These animals graze on  the plants without regulations, and cause erosion as their hoofs percolate the soil,  further reducing soil fertility.

In addition to sustain the beef production,  trees were fell to for cattle ranching. This ultimately contributed to loss of the forest species.

Banana plantation is an  additional factor.Forest were cleared to cultivate banana, which affects forest population.

Why do you think a growing human population means mass extinction events for earths animals
Mazyrski [523]

if we wipe out an animals natural habitat, or introduce new wildlife the animals could die. This could cause a major problem in the areas ecosystem. That is what i know, and i think that major problems would happen, like to many of one species, which takes all the food from the other species, causing major problems, and even more animals to die.
