The correct answer is D - In 1902 Britain wins the South African War and takes over the Transvaal.

The word imperialism means “a policy of extending a country’s power and influence through colonization, use of military force and other means”. This is exactly what happened at the South African War.

The Boer South African Republic (Transvaal) wanted independence - maintain their cultural style, religious beliefs, own language and their way of life - but Britain had interests in that area - especially the gold mines. This is all classic imperialism traits.

D because becoming a state isn't even close to imperialism, neither is economic unions or declaring independence.

How was the constitution a pro slavery document? How was it an anti slavery document?
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

The Constitution thus protected slavery by increasing political representation for slave owners and slave states; by limiting, stringently though temporarily, congressional power to regulate the international slave trade; and by protecting the rights of slave owners to recapture their escaped slaves.

What are two results of different passing of the Kansas Nebraska act
Bess [88]

Answer:

The bill was reported to the main body of the Senate on January 4, 1854. It had been modified by Douglas, who had also authored the New Mexico Territory and Utah Territory Acts, to mirror the language from the Compromise of 1850. In the bill, a vast new Nebraska Territory was created to extend from Kansas north all the way to the 49th parallel, the US–Canada border. A large portion of Nebraska Territory would soon be split off into Dakota Territory (1861), and smaller portions transferred to Colorado Territory (1861)

Please sum it up and put it in your own words, have an awesome day!
