The correct answers are as followed:

1) Supreme Court Justice holds office for life- Supreme Court Justices (aka judges) will remain in their role until they officially retire or die while in office.

2) A state law may be overturned by the Supreme Court- The Supreme Court is the most powerful court in the entire United States. This means that any state law or ruling can be overturned by the Supreme Court.

3) The Supreme Court can determine if the actions of the President are legal- The Supreme Court is responsible for interpreting the law and determing whether an individual/group broke this law, regardless of their position within American society.

4) Surpreme Court detemrines the Constiutionality of all laws passed by Congress - This ability to determine whether a law is constitutional or unconstitutional is known as judicial review. The Supreme Court was granted the power of judicial review thanks to the famous Supreme Court case known as Marbury vs. Madison (1803).

When I think of war, I think of ruined families, because that is what war brings. Where is war, men are often drafted, and so the wifes are always stressed out and worried about their husband at wars, and the husband is always worried about whether or not his wife is getting the food, shelter, protection etc, that his family needs. The spouse staying home would most likely have to get a job, especially because being in war doesn't pay well. When someone is at war, you don't know what is going to happen. Fears might include whether or not you're loved one with ever return, and if they do, will they have an injury where they will not be able to work, or provide very well. Will they return with severe damage mentally. People know this as PTSD, which often causes depression and confusion. Fears brought on by a loved one going to war might include whether or not maybe your family will be able to provide for everything they need. If not, is there anyone that can help pay financially, and if not where and how are they going to send money to their family.

What is the difference between the establishment clause and the free-exercise clause?
elena55 [62]

Answer:

Option: The establishment clause stops the government from favoring a religion while the free exercise clause allows people to express their religion.

Explanation:

Establishment Clause under the First Amendment forbids the government from making law respected to any religion. This clause forbids the government from establishing an official religion, also prohibits endorsing, supporting, or becoming too involved in religious activities and favouring one religion over another.

The free-exercise clause concerns the right to exercise religion freely without any restrictions from the government. The free exercise clause protects religious beliefs and practices.
