In response to the 95 theses of Martin Luther, which birthed the Protestant movement, further criticism arose towards the Catholic Church. This resulted in reform and clarification of its teachings because the issues were actually being called out on a large scale, and the reforms ultimately benefitted the church morally.
The New Right refers in many ways to "a
