Answer: D water

Streams of water can either from river or oceanic water source can remove and transport materials from one place to another. The loose sediments from the bottom of the river or any other water source can also be removed by this process. This is called as stream erosion.

Water is the chief physical agent for stream erosion therefore, water should be poured along with the sand into a pan.
