It depends which pair goes first but the formula is Y2-y1 over x2-x1

(0,-3) = (x1,y1)

(4,5) = (x2,y2)

Slope = \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}

          = \frac{5-(-3)}{4-0}

          = \frac{5+3}{4}

          = \frac{8}{4}

          = 2
