Driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) is not safe at all and you should not drive. DUI is the number one factors of road accidents. It is also a criminal offense. Even though, the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle .08% BAC (blood alcohol concentration) but a smaller amount of alcohol still impact your driving ability. At a BAC of .08, you might not be able to control the speed of the vehicle, blurry or double vision and your reaction time is slower. No amount of alcohol is acceptable.

While drunk driving is an obvious danger to the drivers and others, it is also very costly in other ways. The criminal punishment for drunk driving can include driver’s license revocation or suspended for some time, fines, and jail. The fine is also extremely expensive.

Here some tips to reduce the risk of driving under the influence:

  1. Find designated sober driver
  2. Call a taxi
  3. Drive them home
