Answer:

(5)- My day was long and exhausting.

Explanation:

A topic sentence is a sentence which helps in providing the summary of the whole paragraph. It gives the basic idea of the whole paragraph in one sentence. All the other lines are the additional information which the topic sentence focuses on. In the given paragraph the basic idea of it is to focus on the day spent by the writer. Hence option 5 is the topic sentence of the paragraph.

Write a paragraph using apprehensive, barricade, commotion.
TEA [102]
The ground shook in response to the deafening crash, and the world seemed to stand still for a moment. But only just. The ground shook, the people around the area breaking into a commotion. All of them swarmed to the nearest shelter, desperately searching for a means to escape their fate. One person rushed into their home, hastily barricading the door as several people followed after them. Another stood on the edge of a roof, apprehensively taking a step forward as the world went up in flames around them. It had come. The apocalypse, long awaited, was finally happening.

HELP PLEASE (BRAINIEST and 50 points)
ladessa [460]
Okay so
passage 1: Passage one has a mostly positive tone. Allow me to explain. The words used can set a peaceful, calm mood and allow you to paint a beautiful picture in your mind. Words such as bobbed, lapped and quaint suggest calm movements and an enjoyable environment. However Passage 2 is mostly negative in tone. This scene, unlike passage 1 sets a miserable, dark mood, and seems like an unlikely place to be comfortable in. Words such as ragged, frigid, slapped and weathered suggests a worn raft, cold waters, and miserable conditions, perhaps life threatening. Therefore, it is negative in tone. To sum up everything previously stated, passage 1 has a mostly positive tone, whereas passage 2 is mostly negative.

hope that helped :]
