Answer: In Research project named as "Tastes, Ties, and Time " the researcher’s failed to protect the confidentiality of research participants.

Explanation: In 2006 some sociologist from Harvard University started a research project named as "Tastes, Ties, and Time " which was published in 2008 and was withdrawn in 2010 because the researchers failed to protect the privacy of the participants. They were intentionally monitoring the day to day activities of participants on social media platform called Face Book. This longitudinal research, which was conducted over the span of almost four years was banned because of the breach of research ethics which states that the privacy of research participants is to be ensured.
