The backbone of a DNA molecule is made up of deoxyribose sugar and a phosphate group at the top. The inside of the molecule is where you can find your nitrogen bases: adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine; however, the order of the backbone can be flipped depending on which prime is is located on. For example, for sugars (deoxyribose) that are located on 3’, the backbone is essentially flipped upside down. But for sugars located on the 5’ the phosphate group can be found above your sugar, AKA, right side up.

During photosynthesis, light energy is converted to the energy in chemical bonds. What also happens according to the predictions
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

According to the predictions of the second law of thermodynamics "heat is released in the process".

Explanation:

The "second law of thermodynamics states that total entropy of the isolated system can never be decreased over but is constant if all processes are reversible". Similarly in photosynthesis not all the energy are taken by the plants, some reflected and some are lost as well. However, the loss of energy to the surrounding results in increase of entropy. The energy used in the photosynthesis is the light. The source of this light is sunlight.
