The Sainte-Chapelle is also known as the "Holy Chapel". It is the royal chapel which is constructed in Gothic style. It was build by  Louis IX in the 13th century at the royal residence, the Palais de la Cité.

The main feature of the the Sainte-Chapelle is the collection of the stained-glass windows which  facilitates religious stories and experiences. The stained glasses are beautifully colored, thus forming a veritable wall of light.
