Answer:

a. prevent malnutrition

Explanation:

AIDS patients can lose weight quickly. Chronic weight loss is associated with hypermetabolism and malabsorption that, in general, in individuals with this type of infection.

For this reason, one of the main nutritional goals in the final stage of HIV is to prevent malnutrition.

This is because a degree of nutrition adequate to the individual needs of people infected with AIDS contributes to increased levels of CD4 T lymphocytes, improves intestinal absorption, decreases the worsening of diarrhea, muscle wasting, lipodystrophy syndrome and all. the other symptoms that can be minimized or reversed in one way or another through a balanced diet.

How many kilometers above sea level would this mountain reach, and what would the approximate temperature be at this altitude?
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

It would be about 9 kilometers above sea level, and you can expect the temperature to be cold. (see explanation)

Explanation:

If there's no snow or rain and you’re not in a cloud, then the temperature decreases by about 5.4°F for every 1,000 feet up you go in elevation. That is 9.8°C per 1,000 meters. However, if you’re in a cloud, or it is snowing/raining, the temperature decreases by about 3.3°F for every 1,000 feet up you go in elevation. Thus meaning it’s a change of 6°C per 1,000 meters.
